PYS stands for Pilates, Yoga and Strength. If you wish to exercise in an efficient, gentle and varied way, this is the course for you. It is also a great course for the person who only has time to exercise once a week and wants a combination that includes both strength and flexibility, and at the same time provides you with tools to calm and quiet the mind.
Through yoga we cleanse our brain, warm up our body, stretch, work on our balance as well as work on our mobility. Pilates then helps us work on our core and prevent back issues. With the help of equipment we also work out our upper body as well as our legs. Every class ends with a short but deep moment of relaxation. After class you will leave strengthened, relaxed and filled with new energy.
If you have previous experience in both yoga and Pilates and are looking for a bit of a challenge, this level 3 course is for you. The course requires you to be familiar with sun salutations A and B as well as a fundamental knowledge of Pilates technique.
