In this class we use yoga positions (asanas) and our breath to increase our strength and flexibility, as well as to delve deeper into our inner consciousness.
Yoga cleanses the body, quiets the mind and provides a sense of calm, presence and balance. All the exercises, whether they are done in a flow or consists of more static positions, can be challenging but yoga always adapts to the needs of the individual and any position can be modified to suit every body.
This course is for the more experienced yogi (with previous knowledge of hatha, ashtanga, poweryoga or similar practice) that wishes to grow both physically as well as mentally. We place a great importance on body alignment in this class and will work thematically with a new focus each class.
