Pilates is a form of training all about stability and core. If you have stiff joints or a bad back, a strong core can usually help alleviate your symptoms. In Pilates we also work on mobility and body awareness. By working in precise movements, and with intention, you can strengthen muscles big and small.
Once we feel familiar with the basics, we can start incorporating equipment such as resistance bands to continue on developing our strength and stability.
This course is for the beginner, for the person who has tried Pilates once or twice at the gym or for the person who has tried Pilates before but wishes to get better acquainted with the basics at nice and slow pace.
